Chassis Specifications

Maximum tech width= 1.1875" (1-3/16")

Only Aurora or Model Motoring copper T-jet chassis
Chassis must remain stock without modifications

No venting, lightening or trimming allowed

Chassis gear plate rails maybe trimmed except under clip

No weight maybe added to chassis

No metal bearings allowed

Guide Pin maybe glued

Armature
Any stock Aurora T-jet or Model Motoring armature 

Grey tip 2 lam is allowed. 

Minimum ohm of 16 

Armature can be balanced and trued

No Rewinds or De-winds allowed.

Electrical System
Stock copper chassis - no modifications
Brushes - flat copper open (maybe scored)
Any copper pickup shoe allowed, no ski shoes (maybe restricted)

Magnets
Original TJet Aurora magnets- Green/White, Green/Orange, Black/Black, Black/Black with White Stripe and OS3 "Red Dragon" only - no modifications.
Magnets may be shimmed with plastics or non-ferrous metal.

No killer bee magnets.

Gears 

Aurora or Model Motoring Brass - stock or stock replacement 

Beveled gears are not allowed 

Gears may be polished/sanded 

Shimming is allowed with plastic or non-ferrous material Stock Aurora crown gear or any other aftermarket crown gear for 9-tooth pinion.
9 tooth pinion only
Crown gear can be aftermarket no smaller than .300 inch

Axles
Any axles allowed
No brass or weighted independent front ends.

Tires
DCM-4 Wheels or similar INDY style double flange

Front Tires - open minimum height .420 inch.
Rear Tires - slip on silicone, minimum height .460 inch.

No wider than 0.175 inch.

Body Specifications

Dune buggy with or without roofs

Convertible must have windshield, rollbar, and driver
Hard shell, injection, resin cast, no syrene.
Minimum body weight 3.5 grams with screws.
Body may be lowered and lightened.
No body weighting allowed.
