Chassis Specifications
Aurora or Model Motoring T-jet chassis copper only
Chassis and gear plate maybe not be trimmed
No weight maybe added to chassis or body

No venting, lightening or trimming allowed

No metal bearings
Guide pin maybe glued

Maximum width 1 -5/16”


Stock t-jet arm only 16 OHM minimum  

Balancing is allowed

Truing is not allowed

Electrical System  

Pick up shoes - Stock Aurora T-Jet or American only (maybe restricted) 

Skis are not allowed

Pick up shoe springs - stock or stock replacement

Brushes – copper composite flat brush only (maybe scored)

Stock T-Jet only

Shimming allowed with non-ferrous material


Aurora or Model Motoring Brass - stock or stock replacement 

Beveled gears are not allowed 

Gears may be polished/sanded 

Shimming is allowed with plastic or non-ferrous material Stock Aurora Crown gear or any other aftermarket crown gear for 9-tooth pinion.

Wheels – AFX type front and rear, stock or after market 

Double Flange rear wheels are allowed
Shimming allowed inside and outside of chassis
Axles – open, no carbide

Rear Tires - Slip on silicone only
Front Tires - (Wide or narrow hubs)- rubber or o-rings.
Minimum front tire height .345
Minimum rear tire height .375

Any Aurora , Johnnie Lightening, Model Motoring , dash, etc.
Injection molded, no resin, no Lexan

Truck style Willie's bodies are allowed
Body wheel wells may be cut
No body weighting allowed
Body must have 3 numbers
Body must have front glass

Two Screws are required
